HSR Podcast Updates

Is a lab-grown diamond actually “fake,” or is that just an industry story that still shapes what we call “real”? Have you already chosen a side in the diamond debate?

If you’ve ever wondered which engagement rings actually hold value, what styles will define this year, or how celebrities quietly set the standard for what’s “in,” you need to listen to last week’s episode with Ring Concierge founder Nicole Wegman.

We break down how Nicole built a $100M+ jewelry brand starting with just $2,000, bootstrapped without outside investment, and designed around what women actually want: clarity, taste, trust, and long-term value. She also opens up about the unspoken side of success, how money and reputation change relationships, and what it really takes to scale from a scrappy founder to CEO without losing the aesthetic, the community, or yourself. ❤

And for this week’s upcoming episode, are you ready to get into it?! We’ve seen a lot of you asking questions like:

  • How do you know when it’s time to quit something

  • How do you know when it’s time to move forward

  • What are you sacrificing right now that might surprise people

This week’s guest answers all of it. A conversation about beginnings, momentum, and choosing what actually matters as we step into 2026 with purpose and intention (plus the biggest personal update they’ve ever shared!!!)

The Real Question Beneath the Ring

Every engagement post on Instagram looks like it’s about love. The comments tell you what it’s really about…

“How big is it?”
“Is it real?”
“Is it lab?”

The lab-grown vs. natural diamond debate didn’t become heated because people suddenly care about geology. It became heated because engagement rings are no longer private milestones. They’re public symbols, cultural signals, and increasingly, props used for social content on Instagram and TikTok.

Once proposals moved online, the ring became the thumbnail. And once the ring became the thumbnail, size became the easiest way to win attention.

Lab-grown diamonds didn’t create that pressure. They made it achievable.
