I just listened to all 3 episodes with you and Courtney and it was everything I needed in my life during a very challenging moment in my life. Thank you for being vulnerable and brave enough to create the content that I really needed to hear. - YouTube podcast watcher

ICYMI ⋆˚✿˖°

Hi besties,

I watched Netflix’s new special - Famous Last Words after Jane Goodall passed and it got me thinking about what matters in life. I heard about someone talking badly about me to a friend and it ruined about half a day. Repeat after me: Other people’s opinions of me are none of my business. So I went to Tony Robbins Unleash The Power Within and here are my biggest takeaways:

♡ Your beliefs determine your future
♡ Your past does not equal your future
♡ The quality of your life is the quality of your relationships
♡ It might not be your fault, but it’s your responsibility
♡ The stories you tell yourself directly impact your life; so be nice to yourself

I guess I spent a lot of time outside this week because I also went to Founderland, a conference put on Family Fund which was healing. I especially loved the panel conversation moderated by my husband (I know I’m biased) but he asked the question, what do you think is our generation’s version of smoking and the answers ranged from “bad sleep” to “social media” to “vaping” and I’m really interested in what you think…

If you feel like you’re never going to find someone or need a reminder of what a healthy dynamics looks like, this is THE episode where Courtney and I really open up love, risks, and why love and marriage is the ultimate partnership. This is the real story behind our marriage and our wedding day!! This episode was vulnerable and one that took a lot of thought to make sure I got it right. I’ve been through a huge evolution in life and love with HSR by my side and all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you for being there for me! It means more than you know <3!

♡ lululemon is trying (paying a lot of money) to be cool. First it was John Summit, now it’s Erewhon. Will you be buying something from the 19 piece collection?

♡ The global resale market is set to hit $360 billion by 2030 — and LA’s finally getting some new gems. We’ve always had Tab Vintage, a one-of-a-kind treasure trove, and The Vintage Marché, which just got its flowers from LA it-girls Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner during Paris Fashion Week (per Vogue). But now there’s a new player in town: The Vintage Project, recently opened by HSR friend Sarah Jordan Buss. Consider this your sign to start shopping secondhand (and looking better than ever doing it without having to travel to NYC).

♡ The legacy food brands are feeling it. (And they should be after attending Founderland this week) First Domino’s, now Lay’sthe rebrands are rolling in as the pressure to stay relevant heats up. Domino’s is rebranding for the first time in 13 years, adding extra M’s to its logo (literally), debuting “youthful” new uniforms, and tapping country-rap artist Shaboozey for a jingle to connect with Gen Z. Meanwhile, Lay’s wants you to remember the potatoes. In response to three straight years of slipping sales, they’ve matte-ified their packaging, stripped out artificial dyes, added a literal potato photo, and slapped on the phrase “Made with real potatoes” — because apparently 42% of consumers didn’t know that already. Brands are realizing you can’t coast on nostalgia anymore. You have to feel real, look cleaner, and speak younger but you just can’t fake it anymore and I have a feeling consumers are still going to see through these re-brands.

♡ Partiful and Paperless Post are out. Rumor is in because all the cool tech kids are using it. Every single halloween party and Lucypalooza (lucy guo’s birthday party) is being hosted on rumor and it came out of no where!

A new wave of women (and men) are thinking about fertility the same way they think about finance: as something to plan for, invest in, take control of and share the load.

Globally, fertility is a $40 billion market projected to double by 2034, yet the conversation around it still lags behind. For women in their late 20s and early 30s, the age most of us are being told to “freeze our eggs,” “wait for the right time,” or “start trying soon,” fertility isn’t just a medical journey. It’s a business, a bet, and for many, a blind spot.
