Maggie Sellers is revolutionizing modern female empowerment, leading the charge as a Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based startup advisor, investor, and creator—a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur unapologetically blazing new trails in the consumer startup ecosystem.
As the founder of Hot Smart Rich, a media and investment platform built at the intersection of content, community, and capital, Maggie is on a mission to help women embrace their hottest, smartest, richest selves. Known for shaping iconic consumer brands and advising global talent, she seamlessly blends the worlds of entertainment, branding, and venture capital—and was the first to carve out a space where influence, investment, and women-led innovation collide.
Maggie’s meteoric rise began on TikTok, where her candid, sharp-witted takes on startups, investing, and self-worth struck a chord with over 250,000 ambitious Gen Z and millennial women. She quickly became the blueprint for a new kind of influence—equal parts creator, founder, and angel investor.
But Maggie’s vision extends beyond content. Through HSR Ventures, her consumer-focused investment arm, she’s helping women build wealth and ownership by backing some of the fastest-growing brands—including Allara Health, De Soi, Mixlab, and Nudestix. With equity positions across 18+ startups, she’s building a portfolio that reflects her belief in the power of women as founders, operators, and funders.
Maggie’s influence goes far beyond the brands she builds and invests in. Through culture-shaping content, curated experiences, and startup lifestyle storytelling, she’s rewriting the rules of modern success. Forget outdated notions of empowerment—Maggie Sellers is setting a new standard: bold, wealthy, community-driven, and impossible to ignore.
