“the pod ep i’ve been dying for!!!! this is gonna be good.” - HSR Angel

Happy podcast day angels!! Today I am sitting down with someone who turned a fashion blog into an 8-figure empire, sold her company at 30 and is now taking back her life and business, Danielle Bernstein.

Danielle is the founder of WeWoreWhat, fashion designer and entrepreneur who has built one of the most recognizable personal brands on the internet.

I have always been interested by Danielle’s story because she has experienced massive success, public criticism, heartbreak and now an entirely new chapter of rebuilding both personally and professionally.

We talk about the controversies surrounding her brand, the copying accusations, what actually happened behind the scenes and the regrets she has looking back. And I really appreciate how open she is about the things she would do differently.

Danielle also opens up about calling off her engagement, why walking away was one of the hardest decisions she has made and why she believes marriage is also a business decision. We get into prenups, protecting your assets and knowing when something is no longer right for you.

We also talk about buying back WeWoreWhat, the strategy behind her massive rebrand and what it actually takes to start over at 34 when you have already built an empire.

If you are one of the angels who wants to build something of your own, protect what you have worked for and learn how to start over without losing yourself, this is the episode you have to listen to.

Something People Don’t Know About You

I’m on the River Fund board, and I’ve been involved for more than six years. People mostly see the fashion side of my life, but this is a part I’m really proud of.
