“This is so inspiring. I finished the whole thing one sitting. Thank you for such an insightful episode.” - HSR Angel
Happy podcast day angels!!
Today I am sitting down with Emily English aka Em the Nutritionist, a nutritionist, bestselling author, founder and entrepreneur who has built a community of over 3 million people and a multi-million-dollar business literally from her phone.
But what I found most fascinating about Emily is that the thing that built her career started as one of the hardest periods of her life.
At 18, Emily was modelling when her agency told her they needed to “have a conversation about her thighs.” That moment led to an eating disorder, and ultimately her recovery inspired her to study nutrition and completely rethink her relationship with food.
We talk about everything from coffee on an empty stomach, gut health, natural GLP-1s and travel bloat to building an audience, landing your first brand deal and why women should NEVER feel embarrassed about wanting to make money.
I also loved how unapologetic Emily is about ambition. She became a millionaire at 29 and believes you can genuinely help people, build something with integrity AND make a lot of money doing it!
If you want to feel better, build something of your own and actually get paid for it, you need this episode.
At the beginning of this conversation I made a promise to you that if you listen in full, you will walk away understanding how to:
cut through the wellness bullshit
heal your relationship with food
turn what you know into what you own
So angels, are you ready to get hot smart rich?!

Hot, Smart, Rich Tips

Hot Hack: Eat more purple foods. Think blueberries, blackberries, beetroot, red cabbage and purple sprouting broccoli. Their colour comes from powerful plant compounds called anthocyanins, which have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Some purple foods, particularly beetroot, can also support nitric oxide production and healthy blood flow, helping to deliver oxygen and nutrients around the body, including to the skin. My rule is simple: the deeper the colour, the better.
Smart Hack: Wake up 30 minutes earlier than you need to. Not to answer emails or get ahead on work, but to spend that time building yourself. Read, walk, stretch, journal, make a proper breakfast or simply sit with a coffee before the day starts asking things from you. Thirty minutes might not sound like much, but repeated every day, it becomes over three extra hours a week that are completely yours.
Rich Hack: Build a capsule wardrobe and rewear the dress. True style is not having something new for every occasion. It is knowing what suits you, buying fewer pieces that work hard and wearing them confidently again and again. Nobody remembers the dress you wore last year, and even if they do, that probably means it was a really good dress. Rewear it, restyle it and spend the money on something that adds more value to your life.
Favourite Part of the Conversation

Sharing how I built my career by believing in myself even when people doubted me. When I started filming and posting on social media, some people told me that no one cared about what I was doing, but I kept going. I stayed consistent, shared my passion for food and nutrition, and eventually turned it into a successful business. This journey taught me that believing in yourself and not being afraid to start small can lead to opportunities you never imagined.
Something People Don’t Know About You

I used to be a really fussy eater when I was younger. my parents had to force me to finish my meal. I wasn’t a born foodie.
