“The way I’m wearing my red light mask LOCKED in…. Maggie TV 📺 is my fav new show 👏😍💗” - HSR Angel

ICYMI

I am writing this at 8pm on a Saturday night with a face mask on after being absolutely exhausted from this week. I cannot remember the last time my body needed to completely rot this badly. I truthfully have not been in an office for twelve hour days this consistently since before COVID, which if you do the math is over six years. I have so many great videos brewing because of it. That and the language differences with the Brits.

I thought I would share a bit more about HSR x FlightStory and how the deal and relationship is structured, so it makes sense as to why it is so important for Katie and me to be here in London with the 130 person FlightStory team beyond picking up my new fav slang words- gutted, fancy, chuffed and so many more.

As you know, the relationship with Steven Bartlett started with a DM back in September and was structured as a seven figure investment into my holding company. A fancy way of saying that FlightStory and Steven have equity in my holding company forever. And remember, it is harder to get a divorce than it is to get an investor off your cap table. We also have a production deal with FlightStory for a multi-year partnership on Hot Smart Rich, the media company. This means that the production of the show is actually done in partnership with my strategic investors. Pretty great structure if you ask me. So it is really important to be putting in the time with all departments of the 130 person FlightStory team.

Other than that, I need to go rest my brain because I know it needs it. Please enjoy the first vlog that is officially back on @maggiesellersreum on YouTube. I'm finally sharing the side of my life that I haven’t shared online in too long. From almost backing out of a keynote to building Hot Smart Rich behind the scenes, investing, health, marriage, and everything in between, this is the start of a more personal chapter. I can't wait to bring you along.

I Will Invest Over $100,000 Into Female-Founded Startups This Year. Here's The $9 Billion Market I'm Watching Next.

This week, I came across a headline that completely stopped me in my tracks. Midjourney, the AI company best known for generating images and video, acquired Co-Star, one of the world's largest astrology apps with more than 4.3 million monthly active users. My first reaction was confusion. One company is building artificial intelligence. The other is telling you whether Mercury being in retrograde explains why you're having a bad week. They feel like they exist at completely opposite ends of the internet. But the more I sat with it, the more I realized this acquisition isn't actually about astrology. It's about where consumer behavior is heading next.

We Think Information Changes People's Lives. It Usually Doesn't.

This year, I've invested over $100,000 into female-founded startups, which means I
