In my 20s, one of my biggest goals was to make the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. It was truly the only thing I cared about, and when I didn't make it, it crushed me.
But I kept my head down and worked my ass off. I took big bets on myself, started posting my silly little TikToks about becoming the hottest, smartest, richest version of myself, and eventually YOU helped turn that into Hot Smart Rich.
This summer, we took another big bet and brought HSR to life IRL, hosting 100 angels at our first official HSR After Hours in London. I was truly shocked when it sold out in one hour from an Instagram story!!! That night was one of the best nights of my life, getting to actually see the impact of this community in a room.
But what I didn't know at the time was who was watching...I honestly couldn't believe it.
This summer, I met Sherry Phillips, CEO of Forbes (!!!!!!), while we were both in Europe. We sat down for what was supposed to be a meeting and ended up talking for over an hour about women, ambition, ownership, investing, building wealth and everything we're trying to build with HSR.
By the end of that conversation, we were full steam ahead on figuring out how to bring HSR x Forbes to life.
And honestly, even sending you this email feels so big to me because the 20 yr old version of me, who wanted nothing more than to see her name on a Forbes list, never could have imagined this was possible.
