Hot, Smart, Rich Tips

I’ve really shifted away from focusing on resume virtues and started caring a lot more about eulogy virtues, meaning who I am as a person, how I show up, and what actually matters at the end of the day. Titles, accolades, and external validation used to feel important, but over time you realize those aren’t the things that define a meaningful life. What matters more is your character, your relationships, and the impact you leave behind.

One of the most useful frameworks I come back to is thinking in terms of option value and whether a decision is a one-way or two-way door. If it’s a two-way door, meaning you can try something and come back from it, you should move faster and take more risks. If it’s a one-way door, you need to be more thoughtful. That lens helps take the emotion out of big decisions and makes risk feel a lot more manageable and strategic.

When it comes to building wealth, I’ve learned that you have to stay within what you understand. The best outcomes have always come from pattern recognition, discipline, and investing in things I genuinely understand and believe in. Wealth isn’t just about making money, it’s about making thoughtful, informed bets over time.
