Hot, Smart, Rich Tips

I decided really young that I was going to be rich, not because of the money itself, but because I never wanted someone to tell me what I could or couldn’t have again. And the biggest shift I’ve learned since then is this: stop obsessing over cutting every expense and start focusing on increasing your income. You can only save as much as you earn, but you can always earn more. At the same time, you have to get honest with yourself about your spending. Before you buy anything, ask yourself, do I actually want this or do I want other people to know I have it? Most people are spending to prove something. And on top of that, you’re not even making these decisions in a vacuum. The internet is engineered to make you spend. I’ve worked in marketing, I’ve seen how deeply targeted and tracked you are, so if you don’t build awareness around that, you will lose every time. The real win is becoming intentional with both how you earn and how you spend.
Favorite Part of the Conversation

Talking about the difference between people who are actually rich and people who just look rich. When I was younger, I spent money to prove I was successful. Now, I don’t feel the need to prove anything. Real wealth is quiet. It’s confidence, security, and not needing validation from anyone else.
