♡ About Last Night: Even though I didn’t really dress up or celebrate Halloween this year (thanks to my anxiety), I’m claiming that I indirectly did—because last night, I was Andie Anderson at LACMA. Justine did what she does best, styling me with diamonds worth close to $100,000 from Simon G, Gabriel New York, and Beladora. We paired them with a newly released, stunning black velvet dress from Bronx and Banco, along with sparkly heels and a matching clutch to bring my mood board to life. Getting ready with an all-female glam team and taking the day to enjoy the process made the entire event so much more fun.
I learned a trick for putting together a glam look like last night’s when the entire team convinced me to swap a slicked-back bun for loose curls, balancing the power of a bold red lip, diamonds, and a structured dress without clashing. It reminded me of Coco Chanel’s rule about style: “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off.” Following a “less is more” approach in style, whether for a red carpet or everyday life, is why capsule wardrobes seem to have taken over our feeds. Don’t fix what isn’t broken.
♡ This Week’s Lesson: Attention isn’t free; it’s the most valuable thing you spend.
♡ This Week’s Quote: Rich people buy time. Poor people buy stuff. Ambitious people buy skills. Lazy people buy distractions. What are you buying this month?
♡ This Week’s Affirmation: Money is a tool that flows effortlessly to me, creating joy, security, and freedom in my life.
♡ This Week’s ICYMI Update: I’m off to India! I actually wrote this on the first leg of the trip to Vancouver and am now desperately trying to finish and edit it on the second leg from Vancouver to London. From there, we’ll head to Delhi. I’m using a new startup called Flykitt (TikTok review to come), along with ChatGPT, to help create a jet lag program so we can make the most of the first day. I’ll keep you updated on how it goes…
♡ HSR Therapy Hotline: I got a lot of questions today in the AMA about confidence—from how to build it to where mine comes from. I have so much to say on this, but to start, I’ll be real about how unconfident I could have felt walking into a room last night filled with celebrities, money, and fame. I’ll save the “how to build confidence” part for when my brain is properly fueled and rested, but I’ll leave you with a quote I love from Eleanor Roosevelt that helps me whenever I’m feeling insecure: “You wouldn’t worry so much about what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do.” People are usually so busy thinking about themselves that they’re not really thinking about you—and if they are, then give them something to think and talk about.
The paid section of this newsletter is an educational resource and can likely be expensed through your company — I even made a template for you to use when asking! This week I’m sharing:

This week I shared that I’m down to my last drop of so many favorites, so it’s time to stock up for the Sephora sale! From my go-to Rare Beauty primer to my trusty Anastasia Brow Pencil, I’ve got my empties ready for a refresh. If you’re planning ahead like me, here’s your list of must-have restocks, and some of my favorites. By entering the giveaway this week (poll below), you’ll receive an email with my top 10 most repurchased items ever (we can all thank ChatGPT for the help with this one).
My life is full and busy! Honestly, over the past six months, I’ve learned (and reminded myself) that’s how I operate as the best version of myself. With too much time on my hands, I overthink, get anxious, and just don’t get as much done. When I filmed Beyond The Mat with Bryony a few weeks ago, she asked what my best productivity hacks are, and I’m sharing them with my Angels as we head into the busiest two months of the year!
Time blocking and day blocking are critical for me. I do a lot of different things across categories, so if I don’t properly organize my calendar to focus on certain tasks at certain times, I’m not able to compartmentalize and get anything done effectively.
Do the hard things first, then enjoy the rest of your day.
Turning my phone to airplane mode is essential for getting things done, so there are zero inbound distractions, and I can focus on what’s important versus what’s urgent. Usually, urgent tasks are about helping someone else tackle their to-do list, while important tasks are specific to my own to-do list and keep me moving forward.
Habit stacking is key! I love listening to a podcast while I stretch or dry brush my legs.
I’ve also recently started using voice notes and Loom videos instead of phone calls and meetings—it’s been a lifesaver!
